Our mission is to empower residents to enhance their quality of life through the progressive development of essential skills, fostering positive psychosocial growth, encouraging social engagement, and supporting a path towards normalization.
Comprehensive Care and Collaboration
We collaborate with case managers and clinicians from Anchorage Community Mental Health Services (ACMHS), Jail Alternative Services (JAS), the Department of Corrections, Southcentral Foundation, the Office of Public Advocacy, and other agencies to support adults with mental illness. Our residents participate in Day Rehab, MICA, and other therapeutic programs or join recreational outings as they choose.
Medication Monitoring and Symptom Management
We provide thorough medication monitoring with reminders and assistance, ensuring high compliance and reducing psychiatric hospitalizations. Weekly psychiatric evaluations by ACMHS professionals support effective symptom management.
Nutritious Meals and Dietary Care
Our full-time cook prepares three nutritious meals and snacks daily, accommodating special dietary needs. We also offer customized meal options upon request.
Transportation and Accessibility
We assist residents with transportation for appointments and provide direct transport for those unable to travel independently.
Safety, Security, and Cleanliness
We prioritize safety and cleanliness through structured daily routines, 24-hour staff monitoring. Our staff is trained to handle medical emergencies with current emergency procedures and skills, ensuring a safe and supportive environment at all times.
